The coolest hotels

Accommodation can be considered as a simple formality or as an experience we like to enjoy, at the same level than our travel.
After a previous survey, it’s obvious that price is an essential element; and the number of organizations which do not offer only luxury, but which got onto a sumptuousness concept as synonym of exclusive specialty, design and originality to differentiate itself from competitors, increase.
Morgans Hotel has been one of the first to differentiate itself as a “Boutique-Hotel”. It’s a concept which is characterized by design and aims customers feeling home. The first of these hotels (1984) was born on the 5th Avenue in New York, a perfect place to launch a new tendency which grew worldwide, and in several cases, with the help of “butterfingers” designers group of Philippe Stark.

hotel-cool2

Currently, this group owns several hotels in different places, such as Mondrian in Los Angeles, The shore club in Miami, St Martins Lane in London.
While having a look at some pictures, we could think that sometimes, there is point to travel to appreciate those hotels.
What do you think about it? Will you afford it sometimes??

Massimiliano Fuksas, architecte

Elected capital of the culture for 2013, it’s Marseille’s duty to be equal to this image. It is for this that luc Besson will have his multiplex.
Euromed Center, a construction of 70 000 m², will bring together offices, hotel, a multiplex and 14 various entertainment rooms: convention rooms, services, shops, leisure, a show room which can contain 2000 people.
It will be easy to access with the future tramline.
The cost of this project, about 300 millions of Euros, should transform this city in a huge international platform of Southern Europe.

Made from 70% of acrylic glass and built at a deep of 49 feet, you will miss gossips from the underwater only while you will be sleeping.

If you imagine yourself being at the controls of the nautilus, and living Captain Nemo’s dreams, it will cost you 1500$ per person and per week. For this price, a private jet will take you from Fiji main airport to the Resort.
However, if you can afford this stay, you can already make a reservation. This Resort takes place in a private island, in Fiji, but the exact place is still a mystery.
