Art never ends growing. The artist Jeremy Mayer managed to gather two kinds of arts and two eras in a single work.
The effect is a chock. Mayer managed to join literary art symbolized by History and the maudlin typewriter, with futuristic figures, through his sculpture.
Between all his figures, my attention stopped on the robot. It brings back to the past of raw material with some typewriter pieces, and to the future, expressed by the automaton’s shape.

If you pass by this bar in Tokyo, you will see these two waiters named Yatchen and Foukotchen.
Everything seems normal till now, except the fact that these amazing waiters are monkeys; They bring you warm towels and, according to the owner and to customers, they are more obedient and friendly than most of us.
They work only 2h a day due to the law about animals’ protection.
As owner and customers are satisfied, the employer planned to train 3 other monkeys for next year.
And anyway, try to give some soy seeds as tip to a waiter; you will see his reaction…

After a previous survey, it’s obvious that price is an essential element; and the number of organizations which do not offer only luxury, but which got onto a sumptuousness concept as synonym of exclusive specialty, design and originality to differentiate itself from competitors, increase.
Morgans Hotel has been one of the first to differentiate itself as a “Boutique-Hotel”. It’s a concept which is characterized by design and aims customers feeling home. The first of these hotels (1984) was born on the 5th Avenue in New York, a perfect place to launch a new tendency which grew worldwide, and in several cases, with the help of “butterfingers” designers group of Philippe Stark.

Currently, this group owns several hotels in different places, such as Mondrian in Los Angeles, The shore club in Miami, St Martins Lane in London.
While having a look at some pictures, we could think that sometimes, there is point to travel to appreciate those hotels.
What do you think about it? Will you afford it sometimes??

TripAdvisor has publish the results from its annual survey about travel tendencies for 2009

The survey has been realised on 3.000 americains and shows some results to take in account.
Tourists will demand more ecologic places to visit, considering these offers had been well accepted in 2008.
Also, offers with possibillities to practise some sport in open air will distance themself from others. This year already, a certain amount of people not only planed to do exercice, but planed also to keep doing it during their next holiday.
On the other side, bigger is the amount of people worried to get infected by a virus. Included last year, data revealed that people are traveling with their own towel, pillow and other different products to not use the ones offered by hotels.
An other tendency for this year is people demand more convenience each time. For exemple, they prefer that airline companies forbid the use of mobiles and laptops to avoid the embarrassment to ask themself for it.
Considering technology progress, a huge percentage of the investigated population would like that airports get wareless, but only a few would agree to pay for it.
If we focus on elected destinations to enjoy good holiday, this is the top 5 of the destination which could be crowded this year:
- Budoni, Italy
- Agia Galini, en Creta Greece
- Petra, Jordany
- Ardmore, Irlande
- Peschiera del Garda, Italy
